From the Yangtze River to the Lancang River

Day 1 Lijiang---the First Bend of the Yangt-Ze River (Shigu town)---Liming 
Night in Liming
From Lijiang drive about 3 hours to Liming, on the way stop to visit the Shigu township and the First Bend of the Yangtze River, villages, fields…

Day 2 Liming---Judian---Tacheng---Qizhong 
Night in guesthouse by the Yangtze River
In the early morning spend about 3 hours’ hiking to visit the Thousand tortoies Mountain, from the top you can get nice views(big valley, mountains, villages…), then driving about 3hours to Qizhong town. area, on the way visit the First Bridge for the Yangt-Ze River and the Stone gate on the Yangt-Ze river.

Day 3 Qizhong---Wai Tacheng---Damo temple  
Night in Tacheng Hotel
In the morning, after breakfast, hiking about 5~6hours to visit Damo Temple. Then back to hotel to stay.

Day 4 Wai Tacheng---Weixi---Yezhi township   
Night in Yezhi
From Wai Tacheng drive about 5 hours to Yezhi township, on the way follow one of big branch of Yangt-ze River to Wenxi county. Having lunch in the small city, then continue driving about 3 hours to Yezhi, when you just outside of Wenxi county for 1 hour, you can see the Lancang River.

Day 5 From Yezhi do one day hiking trip to Tongle Lisu village
Night in Yezhi
After breakfast from Yezhi driving about 20 minutes then hiking about 2~3hours to Tongle Lisu village, have simple lunch there. Then hiking another 2~3hours back to Yezhi from different way. On the way down you can view Lancang River, villages,mountains.

Day 6 Yezhi---Badi----Cizhong village    
Night in guesthouse
From Yezhi driving about 3 hours to Cizhong village, on the way view the Lancang river, gorge, mountains, villages. Check in guesthouse, then visit the Catholicism Church with local people who will introduce the history about church, local school and village. In the evening have big party with the local people.

Day 7 Cizhong village----Yanmen---Deqin---Feilai Temple  
Night in guesthouse
In the morning,talking with the local people how to plant the grapes and make Grapes Wine. After lunch drive about 3 hours to Feilai Temple, most of part follow the Lancang River, different kinds of mountains, villages.From the Feilai Temple to view the sun set down from Meili Snow Mountain.

Day 8 Feilai temple---Baimang Snow mountain---Benzi Lai ---Shangri-La    
Night in Shangri-La
In the early morning, view the sun rises up from the snow mountain. Then drive about 5~6hours back to Shangri-La. On the way stop on the snow mountain, Nixi and Benzi Lan have lunch in Benzi Lan.

Day 9 Shangri-La---Tiger Leaping Gorge----Lijiang  
Night in Lijiang
In the morning walking around the old town of Shangri-La, Songzan Lin Temple. Then back to Lijiang, on the way visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge and view the First Bend of Yangt-Ze River.
